Front garden
Before
The client’s property had a shared path with an uneven and moss-ridden lawn. Our aim was to create an interesting entrance for the home, evoking a variety of colours, textures and sounds.
After
Our professionals created a new central gated entrance with a winding path and a new semi-circular front step. We also created a separate planting area, added a water feature and installed artificial turf.
Lawn
Before
The ‘grass only’ garden was uneven and had a slope. Also the patio was too small. Our aim was to create a large patio which could accommodate a large table and at least 8 chairs. Also, the client wanted raised planters and a lush lawn.
After
We chose sandstone for the patio. Raised beds were built using sleepers. We also installed some shade-loving, drought-resistant turf.
Patio
Before
This client had a shabby front garden and an uneven patio in the rear garden. Our objective was to create a new, welcoming entrance path. Also we were thinking of creating a low-maintenance rear garden, with minimal planting.
After
We used sandstone to lay the paving for the rear garden. Two raised planters were also added. Limestone chippings were then added to the existing paving. The front garden was paved with slate, and the walls were rendered and painted. We also fitted new iron railings and an entrance gate.
